Ballet Bellevue

Christina Stockdale

A native of Philadelphia, Ms. Stockdale started dancing at the age of five.  She received her training at the Rock School of the Pennsylvania Ballet and the Academy of International Ballet under Anastasia Babayeva, Denis Gronostayskiy, Christopher Fleming, Bo and Stephanie Spassoff and many others.  In 2006 Ms. Stockdale was a finalist in the international ballet competition, Youth America Grand Prix.  Following high school graduation in 2006, Ms. Stockdale joined Manassas Dance Company as a soloist where she danced for the past two seasons.  Some of Ms. Stockdale's featured roles included Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, Myrtha in Giselle, Mina in Dracula, Odette San Lake and various roles in The Nutcracker, Le Corsaire, Paquita, Amidsummer Night's Dream, Coppelia and many others.  For the 2007/2008 season, Ms. Stockdale has moved to the west coast to perform with Ballet Bellevue and she is on the faculty of Ballet Bellevue School.
