Jennifer Porter
Artistic Director
Ms. Porter was raised in Alaska and received her dance training on scholarship at the highly esteemed North Carolina School of the Arts and Ballet West. She performed for North Carolina Dance Theatre and the Washington Ballet (Washington, D.C.) and later became a company dancer with Pacific Northwest Ballet. Since the founding of Ballet Bellevue in 1995, Jennifer has performed solo roles in many Ballet Bellevue productions including The Sleeping Beauty, Pavlova, Magnesium Pieces, The Fairy Queen and Ravel String Quartet, and she has also served on the company’s board of directors. Jennifer currently resides in Seattle with her husband, Harold Malkin, and their two sons, Max and Leo.
